The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Annual Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Science paid a courtesy visit to the leadership of AMLSN Bayelsa State. The committee, led by Dr. Fred Uwikor, sought the collaboration of the state branch and its members for the 2nd Edition of the conference. Highlighting the importance of th conference to the Medical Laboratory Community in areas of crime detection, Bioterrorism and other areas of molecular important, The conference is scheduled for June 11th - 13th, 2025 with the Theme: "Application of Forensic Science in Crime Management and Jurisprudence: The Medical Laboratory Scientists Imperative.

The Chairman of AMLSN Bayelsa State, Sct Eunice Lelei, promised the branch's full participation and encouraged members to attend. In her words the conference promises to be a groundbreaking event, offering opportunities for knowledge sharing, networking, and professional growth.
